We learned how to do a science experiment including asking a question, hypothesis, procedure, materials list and observations and conclusion.
How did you show what you learned?
We set up an experiment with paper towels, water, food colouring (the primary colours) and plastic glasses. Ask me about it!
What do you need to learn next?
We need to make some observations and make a conclusion.

What did you learn today?
We learned where we walked on our FAF Community tour. 
How did you show what you learned?
We used a map and highlighted the route that we took to do our walk. We also highlighted the things that our community provides. Ask me about that.
What do you need to learn next?
We are learning this because when we travel to the different countries that we are studying this year, we will be able to compare the quality of life and the things that their communities provide for the people from those countries.

Oct 20 - We Were Anthroplogists!

We were making observations as junior anthropologists in our community.

We walked around our community making observations about places to live, work, learn, worship, play, meet and  to buy things.
What do you need to learn next?
We need to learn about other places and their communities.

Oct 19 - Getting Goosebumps

3 FAF tomorrow - we will be going for a community walk so please dress for the weather.
Highlights
What did you learn today?
We learned about what we are going to be doing in our work on writing activity about a haunted house.
How did you show what you learned?
We got in partners and we got a planner or a web to collect our ideas about the features of our haunted house.
What do you need to learn next?
We are going to use these ideas to write up our for sale ad. We are then going to put this up with our artwork, which by the way is bone chilling, dreadfully haunted, creepy, spooky, fantastic, extremely scary, sketchy, horrific and bewitched.

We learned how to use shading and blending of white and a colour to create the backgrounds for our haunted houses in art.
How did you show what you learned?
We used white paint and one other colour to create lighter to dark shades for our haunted house background.
What do you need to learn next?
We need to create the house and then write up a for sale advertisement for our houses.
