We were sorted into groups and completed the activity based on science and language arts.

We got into groups and went to different stations to complete activities in each one.

We had one of our last practices for festive evening.
How did you show what you learned?
We went to the learning commons and made ourselves into a tree shape and learned the actions to go with our song.
What do you need to learn next?
We need to practice our song more to be ready to perform on Thursday night.

Dec 5 - I Examine Eyes!

What did you learn today?
We learned that in the dark our pupils look big and in the light our pupils look smaller.
How did you show what you learned?
We had partners and we examined each others eye reaction when the lights were on and off.
What do you need to learn next?
We want to learn more about how light affects the eyes.
We have some wonderings:
How does a camera work?
How do people become colour blind?
Where does the liquid come from out of your eye when you cry?

We used a website to learn how to borrow to subtract.
What do you need to learn next?
We need to keep on practicing to get better, learn how to estimate differences and how to solve subtraction word problems.
