End of Week 28

End of Week 28! 

Important for next week!
  • Monday is Scratch club for Grade 3
  • Karen Gummo who is a story teller continues her residency with us Tuesday and Thursday
  • Curriculum Night was postponed, we will let you now when it will be on again
  • No school next Friday as it is non instructional day and the beginning of Spring Break

This week in Daily Five we worked on WOW #18 which was a story that Karen Gummo shared with us. It was about Wapi becoming a man. It was also how the prairie anemone got it's fur coat.

Max, our Math blogger reports:

This week in math we did played our math games and prepared for Math and Science night but unfortunately, it was delayed. Ask me how to play war. We finished our multiplication helper posters.

Logan, our Science blogger reports:

In Science this week, we did our rust test and almost all of our nails rusted. We have a list of wonderings that we are looking for answers for. We tested cardboard beams that were all different lengths and we tested how much weight they could hold when they were flat and when they were on their sides.

Trinity, our Social Studies blogger says:

This week in Social Studies, we watched a video about pictographs and petroglyphs. The video also taught us about Writing On Stone provincial park.
