Highlights
What did you learn today?
We learned how to estimate the number of jellybeans in jars by using strategies of layering for 3D and 2D shapes and using fractions. We also learned that making mistakes makes our brains grow because more synapses are fire.

How did you show what you learned?
We had to guess how many marbles were in a jar. It ended up being 257 marbles in the jar. A student from room 4 won the prize for closest guess. Her strategy was counting by 25s.

What do you need to learn next?
We are going to estimate how many seeds are in a pumpkin tomorrow.
