Cedar, our Daily Five blogger reports:
This week in Daily Five we did daily rotations. We started our spelling practice which is now what we do for Word Work. Our WOW #10 was about one event that happened over the Winter Break. We have a checklist to help us keep on track and finish all our assignments in Daily Five. If the blue duotang or black journal comes home in backpacks, it means that not all the daily five items were completed this week. Please finish the work and bring it back on Monday.

This week in math we got new math stretches and they were New Year's ones! We have been working all week on addition of large numbers. We have been working on carrying over.

In Science this week, we spent more time doing Social Studies, so there is nothing to report.
