It was so great to see everybody back and meet all the new faces in Room 5! We will be doing our blog a little differently this year, we will have entries on Tuesdays which will be in the format of what is happening for the week and Fridays which will be a student written recap of the week's activities.
Just a few pieces of information that you need to know:
- please send indoor shoes ASAP
- I would like students to have their own headphones in a container or ziplock bag to be kept in their desks
- if you would like to bring your own pencil crayons, markers or other special school supplies in a pencil box that would be fine with me.
- This year we are going to recognize student birthdays in a new way. In the past some families would send a treat with their child on their birthday to be shared with their classmates. We are requesting that treats are no longer sent for children’s birthdays. We would like to recognize students through a weekly announcement and small birthday “gift”.
