Highlights
What did you learn today?
We learned about the Blackfoot and what is in their tipi. We learned what side the men sat on and what side the women sat on. There are helpers by the door.
How did you show what you learned?
We identified what the designs meant, we drew a bird's eye view of the inside of the tipi during a ceremony. We also designed the outside of our tipi.
What do you need to learn next?
We need to learn how to build a tipi. We need to bring materials to build the tipi tomorrow.

YOU ARE = YOU'RE is not the same thing as YOUR. This means your something. Like your dog, your pencil. This means something very very different if you say YOU'RE dog. Or YOU'RE pencil. Just remember this when you are writing YOUR Valentines that YOU'RE spelling correctly!!!
